ALICE IN WONDERLAND

The animated movie "Alice in Wonderland" by Walt Disney, is came out in theaters on July 28, 1951, but didn't had the success hoped. The animated feature was directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson and Hamilton Luske and is an adaptation of the book namesake by Lewis Carroll. Alice's dream is a wonderful fantasy that seems invented own for the world of cartoons. In this movie, Disney found his inspiration wonderfull and imaginative, and takes in the fairy tale, the maximum visual suggestion, which had already faced twenty years ago, for a short film in black and white, inspired by the blonde young girl dreamer.
The movie begins with Alice's sister who tells him the story, while Alice lay on the lawn bored and thinks to play with her kitten Orestes. Suddenly she sees a strange white rabbit, characterized by a vest and a pair of glasses, looking at his watch pocket, with the anxiety of being late. Then he sneaks inside a hollow tree trunk and disappeared.

Alice is intrigued by the White Rabbit and decides to follow him, but when she enters in tree trunk, falls into an abyss without end. Fortunately, his fall is cushioned thank to the opening of the skirt, which acts as a parachute. Alice continues to follow the rabbit, but this does not stop for a moment. The curious maiden, comes to a cottage and when is about to open the door, the lock is complaining about being grabbed by the nose. Alice also has some difficulty in entering, because the door is very narrow, but the lock invites she, to take the bottle on the table in the room. Alice, though with some hesitation, she drinks the contents of the bottle and suddenly starts to shrink. Once inside, she asked to eat a cookie and when Alice taste it, starts to become so great that her head touches the roof of the house. Alice is desperate because she understands that can't exit to the door, will remain trapped inside the house, so she starts to cry so much, to flood the house. She decides to drink another sip from the bottle, and so again becomes small. Now, however, she must be careful not to drown in the sea of tears that she has produced, but fortunately manages to escape through the keyhole. To which ask the their help, by the waves which surround she, but in vain. Fortunately, the waves carry her in a dry place after having dried the clothes, running in circles (as suggested the birds) Alice sees the White Rabbit and continues to follow he. Arrived in the woods she meets two strange characters named Tweedledum and Tweedlede, that stop to tell the strange story of "The Walrus and the Carpenter" and the curious oysters. A day (or night) a Walrus and a Carpenter walked along the beach and they wanted eat some oysters tasty. Armed with flute and stick with music, they tried to attract the oysters for to make exit them out of the sea.

The oysters are very happy to get out were eaten in a flash by the Walrus, this infuriated the carpenter and so they began to quarrel. The story make sad Alice, who in any case must return to chase the White Rabbit. Finally arrives at the home of the rabbit hurried and order to take the gloves, named she Maryanne. Alice enters the White Rabbit's house to search the gloves, but can not find them. In their place there is a box of cookies with the word "eat it". Forgetting the previous effect, Alice taste the cookie and begins to grow dramatically, so much so that her arms out of the windows and the feet out the walls. The White Rabbit confuses Alice for a frightening monster, so he asks help to Dodo bird, which orders to set fire to the house. Before who these crazy, begin their plans, Alice search some food for shrink, so with his long arms, is able to taste a carrot who was in the garden. So Alice shrinks and resume to chasing the White Rabbit. Now she's too small to keep up the rabbit and loses sight him. In the forest meets the beautiful flowers that dance and sing and then, sitting on a mushroom, meets the Caterpillar who smoking a strange pipe, he draws the clouds of smoke shaped vocal. The Caterpillar asks at Alice: <<Who be you? >>. Alice and disoriented and would like to return to shes normal size, so the Caterpillar suggests to eating a piece of mushroom, if she eat on one side can grow, and if she eats the other party may shrink. Alice eats a piece of fungus and guesses the side to make she grow, so she arrive at entangle her hair between the branches of the trees and to make infuriate a mother bird. Alice eats one more piece of mushroom and shrinks, so she becomes to normal size. Again on the way, Alice finds some signs that point to different directions and does not what to take. So appears a strange cat named Cheshire. Alice asks to White Rabbit, but the cat sends the maiden from the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. Arrived at their home, Alice meets this strange individuals who celebrate their not-birthday, singing and drinking many cups of tea. Alice says that she doesn't have a birthday in that day and the two characters celebrate also her not birthday with a beautiful cake. Tired of all this nonsense, Alice decides to take the path that will bring to his house, but suddenly the road disappeared, erased by a strange animal to shaped broom. Alice cries to despair, feeling alone in this strange world, but at some point that the cat Cheshire appears again and indicates a road which will lead to the queen of wonderland. In the royal garden, she meet the soldiers shaped like playing cards, that armed with bucket and paint, are intent on coloring the white roses to make them red. Alice sees also the White Rabbit, that with a bugle announced the arrival of the Queen of Hearts and his little King.

The big Queen invites Alice to play croquet, using birds as mallet. The birds are so terrified by the Queen, who will do anything to make lose Alice. Comes to his aid the Cheshire Cat, which combines a bad joke to the Queen of Hearts, who rolling upside down, but the Queen furiously accuses Alice and command at the soldiers, to decapitate the maiden. The little King, convinces the Queen of hearts to make at least one process. Needless to say, the process, all the accusations are against her and so for be heard, Alice decides to eat the two pieces of mushroom who had on the pocket. Alice begins to become huge and intimidating both the Queen and to his soldiers, who flee in terror. At one point, however, starts to take effect the other piece of mushroom, that shrinks and so finds herself pursued by the Queen and by the playing cards. After a race at breakneck speed, pursued by all the characters of this strange world, Alice finally finds the door from which she had entered, but the lock tells her to be still locked. When everybody are wearing, Alice wakes up from this incredible dream and found her kitten Orestes, who sleeps in her arms.
