Masha and the BearThe series Masha and the Bear (Ma ai Medved) comes directly from cold Russia: a "reverse fairy tale" that took shape in the mind of Oleg Kuzovkov inspired by the famous Russian fairy tale of Masha and the bear, which was later made by the Russian animation studio Animakkord which gave it nice 3D shapes. Aired in Russia since 2009, it lands on Rai Yoyo with 26 episodes broadcast every day at 10:30 am, on Saturdays and Sundays also at 21 pm: pills of fun that will last just over 15 minutes.

The strength of this series aimed at preschoolers (and not) is both the extraordinary quality of the 3D images, the faithful reconstruction of all the objects, the textures, the fluidity and credibility of the animations, and the disruptive sympathy of the characters. , all characterized very well starting from little Masha, a character destined to last over time and to carve out a place of honor among the various cult cartoon characters. Each episode deals with a theme and a final moral addressed to children: the importance of going to school, music, Christmas, cooking, growth and much more. Apart from Masha all the animals express themselves with gestures, while the little girl is voiced by Luca Tesei and Sara Tesei.

Characters:

Little MashaMasha: extremely funny and direct, Masha is a little Russian girl of about 5 years old, who lives in a house on the edge of the woods and near the railway. He loves lollipops and candies more than anything else, but he also has an unbridled passion for the trophies and cups won by Bear, which often become his game tools. Curious and crafty, as only a child can be, she always chats and loves to tell stories, as well as tormenting Bear with a thousand impossible questions and requests, which Bear often accepts both out of desperation and because she loves her.

Bear: he comes from the circus life, he is orderly, fussy, educated and with anthropomorphic features; after leaving the circus he decided to make a tree his home. Already in the organization of the domestic environment one understands its quiet and sleepy character, which finds in the visits of the super active Masha moments of joy and fun, but also fear, so much so that it is often forced to confine the child in punishment, dressing in the authority of a father. Bear does not speak, he communicates with different gestures and tones of roars to communicate with Masha, and although at times he is exasperated by the little girl's findings, he would not be able to live without her. Orso is very good at any activity and profession he carries out with enviable speed: carpenter, cook, painter, house painter, magician and even inventor. Her favorite hobbies are model making, crosswords and puzzles.

The animals of the courtyard: in the yard of Masha's house there are chickens, a dog, a goat and a pig. Everyone dreads Masha's arrival and is always looking for someone to play with, all except the pig Rosa, who is not afraid of her. During the first episode, roosters and hens also appear in the courtyard. Despite the goat she is always very lazy and only thinks about eating, she is often involved by Masha in spite of herself. The real protagonist of this group is undoubtedly the little pig that Masha enjoys carrying in the toy stroller dressed like a baby. The pig likes to dive into a puddle (several meters deep like a swimming pool) and sunbathe while listening to the music on the radio headphones. In the final episodes he turns out to be a very good dancer and choreographer.

She-bear: hit the heart of Bear who is madly in love with her. Despite multiple attempts, Bear is unable to fully conquer her, also due to the bizarre and awkward situations in which he finds himself due to Masha which have the effect of Orsa's amused giggles, which shows a maternal sense towards the child. Orsa is sentimentally torn by the attention given to her by the strong Bear, the rival in love of Orso. She loves dancing and reading fashion magazines.

The rabbit: friend of Masha and the Bear, he is the companion of the little girl's raids, and he teases the Bear by stealing carrots from his garden. If the child is in danger, she immediately runs to call Bear. Rabbit is also very desecrating towards Orso and does not believe in his past as a juggler and circus artist. In addition to his irresistible and unbridled passion for bear-grown carrots, Rabbit loves playing hockey with Masha and running in the snow with her.

The wolves: The two wolves are constantly looking for food. They live in an abandoned ambulance in the hills, and their target has always been the rabbit, which they never manage to catch. After Bear's arrival in the woods and his "very dangerous" game inside the ambulance in which they risked their lives, they keep themselves as far away from the company as possible. Their hunger is such that they try to feast on a cockroach that they never manage to skewer with a fork. Often they play the role of nurses towards Bear, who they load into the ambulance, but also that of patients, when they happen to be in the clutches of Masha who plays the nurse. In the episode "Masha Little nurse"the wolves kidnap Masha to ask Bear for a ransom, but in the end they become the prey of Masha who torments them and torments them with her games. They are often involved in Masha's initiatives, as when Masha becomes painter, rock star (talented keyboard players) e tennis player.

Squirrels: The two squirrels live inside a hollow tree and although in some episodes they have been hostile towards Masha, throwing some pine cones at her, most of the time they are involved in her initiatives, like when they collaborated in whitewashing the house of Bear , played the role of referee in the matches between Masha and Rabbit and proved to be excellent harmonica players in the episode "Masha rock star".

Porcupines: Like squirrels, they appear and take part in various Masha's initiatives, such as the harvest of berries for the Recipe for a disaster or when they collaborate to spread the wallpaper in Bear's house.

Panda: He is the grandson of Orso from China, whom Masha wants to know and torment with her constant questions and curiosity about him. It appears in the episode "You can call me Masha"and after a succession of constant arguments and fights between the two (which Orso exploits to his advantage), they become sincere friends. He reappears in the episode "Bon appetit!" and proves to be a very good cook in preparing ravioli typical of China, with an extraordinary skill in shaping pasta with simple chopsticks. Too bad that Masha will do everything to ruin her masterpiece.

Tigre: Former colleague of the Bear circus, appears in the episode A striped friend where he initially has some disagreements with the impertinent Masha, who tests his nerves by snatching his dear photo album from his hands, which illustrates the glorious moments of the circus in the company of Bear. In the episode Run run pony we find Tigre intent on a game of chess with Bear, even if the opponent to beat will be little Masha.

Strong bear: He is Bear's rival in love, as he woos Bear with flowers and chocolates and struts with her showing off her muscles and never separating from her weights. Being a narcissist in the end he pays more attention to the care of his physical form, than to direct the right attention towards Orsa. Appears in episodes Bear falls in love , The potion to grow e Masha tennis player where he will be engaged in an exciting tennis match against Masha.

Dasha: Masha's cousin appears in the episode One cousin too many and although very similar physically (different only for the big glasses and the lighter hair), Dasha proves her opposite by being unsociable (she is terrified of Bear), having a keen sense of order and being much less dynamic than her.

Penguin. It appears in the episode Daddy bear where it is raised by the Bear, which helps to hatch it when it was still an egg. Fallen by chance (it is not known how in the squirrel tree he went to roll up to the house of Bear, who looked after him until he was sent back to the South Pole, via a remote-controlled model airplane. It reappears in the episode. Having fun with the family where his frenzy and passion for the game together with Masha, will make Bear meditate on his role as father.

Api: Bear grows honey in his garden, through the hives, where the dangerous bees reside, which at the slightest jolt come out to torment the unfortunate on duty. In the first episode "Masha and the Bear"They chase Masha for overturning the hives and the little girl will turn the whole garden upside down until she takes refuge inside Bear's house. The perfect photo they will take revenge on Masha who dared to photograph them inside their hive, dazzling them with a powerful flash.
