Vampirina is a cartoon TV series aimed at an audience of preschool children, produced and broadcast on Disney Junior starting from 1 October 2017 in the United States and from 11 October in Italy on Disney Junior. The animated series in CGI computer graphics consists of 10 episodes lasting 11 minutes each and is based on children's books written by Anne Marie Pace and illustrated by LeUyen Pham. For the production of the Disney Junior series he made use of the proven collaboration with the Irish animation studio Brown Bag Films (see Plush Doctor, Henry Little monsters, The Octonauts, etc.).
To make the most of its monstrous debut, in the United States there will be special screenings of Vampirina in cinemas starting on Saturday 21 October, Thursday 26 October and Saturday 28 October, where the special film will be broadcast "HalloVeneen Party!", presented at Fathom Events. The cinematic event will include an unreleased episode of Vampirina, masquerade parties for children and families and other surprises.

The animated series tells the story of Vampirin ("Vee" her American diminutive), a vampire girl who lives with her parents mom Oxana and dad Boris Hauntley, who recently moved from Transylvania to Pennsylvania to open a bed'n'breakfast for goblins and ghosts . Having recently arrived from a very different world, Vampirina will have to adapt and discover new customs and habits of human beings, through her new friends.
