After long years of wars, man has decreed the end of humanity. Twenty years after a great world catastrophe, the surviving humans find themselves on deserted islands born from the rising levels of the oceans. The protagonist of the story is Conan a boy who lives on one of these islands together with his grandfather, the only witness from the previous world. One day Conan, much to his surprise, finds a little girl on the beach unconscious. The girl is called Lana and after recovering, she says she is the niece of Dr. Rao, the only scientist on earth capable of harnessing solar energy and having been kidnapped by the Indastrian military to force her grandfather to collaborate with them.
