DVD THE TREASURE PLANET
 The protagonist of the story is Jim Hawkins, a boy who lives on the planet Montressor rich in mineral deposits, who, tired of his life, decides to venture into space aboard an intergalactic sailing ship working as a kitchen boy. The expedition is in search of a legendary treasure planet, aboard a space ship, rich in precious metals. Jim in the company of the crew formed by the cyborg John Silver, in search of Flint's Loot of the Thousand Worlds, by the severe Captain Amelia and other funny characters, will face the thousand dangers of the galaxy between cosmic explosions of stars, gravitational attractions of black holes and catastrophic meteor storms. The experience accumulated along the difficult journey will make him mature as a man to the point that he will understand that the greatest treasure is the discovery of friendship and unity between men. The film is a skilful mix of traditional animation and 3D computer cgi. Of note is the beautiful and evocative soundtrack by James Newton Howard and Johnny Rzeznik. |
