The film tells the story of Ariel, a young mermaid princess fascinated by the world of the surface, which leads her to have constant quarrels with her father, the king of the ocean Triton. One night, Ariel and her best friend, the Flounder fish, decide to go up to the surface to attend a human party that takes place on a boat: it happens, however, that a storm breaks loose and Prince Eric falls into the sea, with Ariel who manages to save him by singing him a song. After yet another quarrel with her father, and with the desire to see the prince in her head, Ariel makes a pact with the sea witch Ursula, who in exchange for her voice gives her human legs for three days, explaining that in order to regain her voice will have to get a kiss from the person he loves, but if that doesn't happen, Ariel will become his prisoner forever. The mermaid, transformed into a human being, spends happy days with Prince Eric, and just when the two are about to kiss, the witch's henchmen intervene: at the end of the third day, the witch decides to turn into a princess and seduce Prince Eric , who realizes that Ariel was the one who saved his life, and not the fake princess Ursula: unmasked, the witch returns to her normal appearance and attacks the two young men and King Triton, but is killed by Eric. Realizing that Ariel loves the prince, her father decides to transform her into a human being and to allow her daughter to marry Prince Eric.

The Little Mermaid II. Return to the abyss

Ariel and Eric, several years after their marriage, give birth to their daughter, little Melody, but during the celebrations, the sister of the witch Ursula, Morgana, tries to take revenge on her sister's death, but is defeated by King Triton, father of Ariel and ruler of the oceans. Ariel then decides to hide the medallion that her father gave to her daughter and to prevent her from having contact with the marine world, by building walls that separate the castle where they live from the sea: the years pass and Melody, by now a teenager of twelve years old, she ignores the fact that her mother was a mermaid in the past, and constantly quarrels with her as her mother doesn't want her to go swimming. Ariel, however, does not know that every night her daughter goes out secretly to take long swims, and during one of these outings, Melody finds the medallion given to him by her grandfather years ago: after yet another quarrel with her mother, Melody he decides to run away from home and meets the witch Morgana, who deceitfully asks her to recover the trident that was stolen, promising to make her remain a mermaid forever. Alarmed by the fact that her daughter is missing, Ariel is turned back into a mermaid by King Triton, and after arguing with Melody again, she is taken hostage by Morgana, who then reveals the deception to the young mermaid. Realizing the mistake made, Melody manages to steal the trident from the witch and return it to her grandfather, who decides to trap Morgana in a sheet of ice, sending her to the sea. . ...
