Tiana is a little girl, daughter of a seamstress who creates dresses for Princess Charlotte, and she has the dream of being able to open a restaurant. The little girl grows up and becomes a teenager, and in order to make her wish come true, she decides to work in a bakery. One day a party is called for the arrival of Prince Naveen, who should marry Charlotte, but he is tricked into a frog, while the valet Lawrence, thanks to the wizard Facilier, takes his likeness. During the party, Tiana discovers that the place where she works will be closed, and after borrowing a dress from Charlotte, as her dirty, she meets the frog Naveen. He asks her to kiss him as in exchange he will obtain the fulfillment of his desire: after the kiss, however, Tiana also becomes a frog, and after a quarrel with the prince, the two face a long journey to be able to regain human form. . During the journey, the two fall in love and discover that the prince must kiss a princess by the day of the party in order to become human again. After several vicissitudes, the two manage to defeat the magician Facilier and decide to marry as frogs, as the spell is not broken. Once the two promise each other eternal love, they both return in human form, and after doing charity, Tiana manages to open her own restaurant.
