Competition announcement to be held on the occasion of the comic exhibition Oderzo Inquieta, from February 16th to March 31st 2006

THE NOTICE
Theme: "The Revealing Heart" by Edgar Alla Poe.
The candidate will have to develop an illustration or a self-contained story in a single table following the lines of the theme of the literary work.

REALIZATION OF THE WORK
For this section the work can be both in black and white and in color. The page format must be a maximum of 33 cm x 48 cm; the minimum format must be 21 cm x 29,7 (A4). For those who use the PC: as regards the final format, the same indications described above apply, but the tables must be printed on high resolution photographic paper, the type of paper is at the discretion of the candidate.

THE STAGES OF THE COMPETITION
The "Restless Signs" competition will take place in three distinct phases: 1 *) From all the projects received, 100 works will be selected (subject to communication via email) which will be exhibited during the "Oderzo Inquieta" exhibition at the Palazzo Foscolo; 2 **) Subsequently 10 other works will be selected to be published in the Oderzo Inquieta magazine; 3 **) Among all the participants, 1 project will be subsequently selected that will be entitled to the collection of a sum in cash.
The papers will be selected by the internal commission of Oderzo Inquieta and selected according to their unquestionable judgment.
Submissions will not be returned.

THE AWARDS OF THE COMPETITION
* the first 100 selected works will be exhibited in the spaces of Palazzo Foscolo in Oderzo for the entire duration of the comic exhibition "Oderzo Inquieta", at the same time they will be present on the website www.oderzoinquieta.it for the entire period of the exhibition .
** The 10 selected works will be published in the magazine "Oderzo Inquieta" published by La Voce del Padrone. Within this magazine, as well as the selected work, there will be a card of the author with his contact details. The works will subsequently be published on the website www.oderzoinquieta.it after the end of the comic exhibition.
*** The 1st classified will win a symbolic sum of money quantified in € 200, in addition to the publication in the magazine "Oderzo Inquieta" and within the website www.oderzoinquieta.it.

END OF THE COMPETITION
The works must reach the addresses below by and no later than December 30, 2006. The works sent later will be rejected.


SENDING THE REPORT
To access the PRE-SELECTION, the works must be sent in JPEG format to the e-mail address Segninquieti@oderzoinquieta.it. The works with a too low resolution will be discarded, so we invite you not to send the original work, but only a good copy that faithfully respects it.
The 100 creations must be received in ORIGINAL format together with the data form below, completed in all its parts, or a version recorded on CD at the following address:
