Sunday 2nd May Among the guests Milo Manara, Gilbert Hernandez, Philippe Druillet, Andrea Bruno and many others The virtual journey of Naples COMICON closes within the typographic chromatic table, that initials CMYK, whose letter K means the guiding color of this 2010 , the BLACK (BLACK), declined in all its metaphors. The BLACK will be the trace of the most beautiful Comic Book Show in Italy, with the many exhibitions and international guests, which this year will have a double seat, in Castel Sant Elmo and at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples ( pavilion 10), from 30 April to 2 May, even if the whole city will light up with events, exhibitions and appointments, which will also continue throughout the month of May. Below is the program, with a rich cultural offer, high-level exhibitions, including original tables and impactful scenographies, meetings with the authors, debates, presentations of editorial news, live events, spectacular initiatives and competitions for all tastes . We start from the date: COMICON passes from the weekend of April 25 to that of May 1st.
The twelfth edition of the Naples International Show will therefore take place from 30 April at 2 May 2010. This change, also valid for the future, is necessary in order to take full advantage of the new headquarters of the Mostra d'Oltremare which is added to the traditional Castel Sant'Elmo, and to all the locations scattered around the city.
In the new headquarters of the Mostra d'Oltremare a series of activities will converge that before
held at the Castle, together with those of the event that our structure organized in September, namely GameCon, the Game and Videogame Show which has reached its fifth edition. Starting this year, GameCon will run concurrently with COMICON.
This solution is the result of precise logistical choices, of the experiences and mistakes of recent years, and of the comparison with the operators themselves on the subject.
The great American author of Korean origin Jim Lee, then, is at work, and in a few days he will deliver the official poster of the next edition of the Salone. Thus ends the series dedicated to the four colors of typographic printing, which began in 200-7 with the poster by Enki Bilal, and then continued with Lorenzo Mattotti and Tanino Liberatore.
With this first press release, we try to answer the questions that anyone could ask, to share the reasons for our choices and to provide the maximum information regarding the new COMICON. - Why the addition of the Mostra d'Oltremare?
