In 1995 the Pro Loco started a National Humor Competition, open to professionals and amateurs. The initiative has now become an important reference point for designers, not only nationally, but also internationally. At each review, a different theme and recognition of the most representative works indicated by a special technical jury. The works received were exhibited in various locations. For two years, the event has been included in the Book and Author Fair Duemila Libri organized by the Civic Library and the Municipal Administration, with a very large turnout of public. In 2004, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary, the Pro Loco proposes an `` Anthology '' with the best of the works of Italian cartoonists. Since 2006 the Review has been internationally and the Catalog "Humor a Gallarate" is published, available at the Pro Loco headquarters.
