The eighth appointment with "Gente di Cartoonia" is Sunday 5 August 2006 in Rome, within the Estate Romana on Lungo Tevere Ripa, in front of the Tiber Island, starting at 21,00.

Cartoonia people is a real talk show that wants to represent the world of comics and cartoons through the various professionals of this beloved world. In fact, artists, musicians and voice actors will sit on the stage: the people who materially give life to the heroes of our imagination!

This time "People of Cartoonia" will change exceptionally formula and name and it will be called "Cartoonia Thanks!", precisely to express gratitude to all that increasingly numerous audience that has been following "Gente di Cartoonia" with unexpected and flattering enthusiasm since 18 June.

During this special evening it will be possible to participate in the "Game of Cartoons". The prizes up for grabs are many and all rigorously coming from the world of Cartoonia: free tickets for the next ROMICS (the international fair of comics and animation), CDs, DVDs, T-shirts, posters and many gadgets ...

"Cartoonia Thanks!" it will also be dedicated to music. At 22 pm the concert of the legendary Photonic Rays is scheduled, the most famous cartoon band in Italy, authors and interpreters of the RAI TV themes broadcast in recent years.

They will participate in "Cartoonia Thanks!" also some of the numerous guests who took part in the talk show during the past appointments… in short, you can't not be there too !!!!!!!

The evening program includes:

19,00: opening of the Exhibition and Commercial Area

21,00 pm: Frankenstein Junior Show !!

22,00: Concert of PHOTONIC RAYS

during the concert the “Gioco dei Cartoons” will take place. Up for grabs: free admissions for ROMICS, DVDs, CDs, comics, T-shirts and a deluge of cartoonish gadgets !!!
