Horror… .a Comics!
Stories of fear and fear, tales of monsters and monsters,
adventure & fantasy ....... for a weekend full of suspense!
The Youth Service of the Mountain Community of the Youth Service presents the 5th ed. of "Comics In The Clouds" which also this year will be hosted in the splendid setting of Andreis, from 8 to 10 November.
An edition full of special effects with a breathtaking theme " Horror .... in Comics!"
A way to exorcise fears and transform them into stories through images, but not only, you can see and examine how authors and professionals have made horror real job opportunities, in particular we will host Andrea Borgioli, a young Tuscan cartoonist who will ideally transport us into the atmosphere.

In fact, there are several courses in which children will have the opportunity to participate: Comics in Video, Basic Comics, In-depth Comics and Advanced.
In the laboratory, aimed at boys from To 13 25 years, we will focus not only on the image, the sign, and the technical skills but also a lot on the ability to write, on the contents, on the form of the story, on the actual written story.
The event will close there Sunday 11 November with the ex-tempore competition or the 4th edition of "Fumettonga" which will have as its theme: "Strange figures, strange characters roam the streets ....". On the occasion of this day the participants will be able to try their hand at creating a character that will then be made on a human scale, it will in fact be possible to meet the participants along the streets and the Celebrations of the Feast of San Martino.
The young people participating in the activities will obviously be followed by the Spazio Giovani Staff who continue to promote and enhance all the activities that provide opportunities for training, discussion, creativity and opportunities for aggregation in the splendid Municipalities of the Western Friuli Mountain Community!

The WORKSHOPS you can register for are:
COMIC STRIP in VIDEO - Matteo Corazza
The idea is to propose a semi-animated comic usable and visible on video, drawing or illustrating the shots and cartoons with the technique and setting of traditional animation, (creation of the backdrop and characters) and mounting the material created in a sequence to read on the screen. All accompanied by a soundtrack and a sound designe. During the course, students will be shown the technical and theoretical aspects inherent to traditional animation.
BASIC COMIC STRIP WORKSHOP - Sara Pavan
Suitable for those who love drawing and are new to comics: fundamental technical skills will be provided for the creation of a comic: from the methods of using specific terminology, to professional inking techniques, to the elaboration of the subject, script and storyboard.
IN-DEPTH COMIC STRIP WORKSHOP - Sara Pavan
The activity will focus, from a technical-practical point of view, on the research of the personal sign both through the activity of copying the truth and analyzing the works of Italian and foreign authors. From the theoretical point of view we will try to develop a writing ability aimed at the realization of a mini comic. Suitable for those who have already attended a comic workshop.
ADVANCED CARTOON LABORATORY - Sara Pavan
The aim of the workshop is to analyze the specifics of the comic: images and words in sequence. Aimed at improving story writing skills: it is not important what is told but how it is told. Suitable for those who have already attended comic workshops and want to deepen the topic.
Andrea Borgioli presents their experience and a preview of their tables for the next story
Graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, he made his debut in 2002 on the pages of the reborn FRIGIDAIRE. On Bilotta's texts he draws the third issue of the miniseries IL DONO NERO for Montego. In 2006 he joined the staff of L'INSONNE published by Free Books and participated in the anthological volume APARTMENTS, COMMON PEOPLE created by Otto Gabos for Black Velvet. He is currently part of the staff of JAN DIX, a new series of upcoming release created by Carlo Ambrosini for Sergio Bonelli Editore.
