"Via Roma 33 Caf " Award
Third edition 2010 - Comics

The Prize is announced by the "Via Roma 33 Café". From an idea by Franca Barbuggiani, created by the same in collaboration with the Veneto Section of the Society of Arts and Sciences (international non-profit association for social promotion) with the support of Pellini Caffè.

Participation in the Prize is open exclusively to authors, including residents abroad, who present texts in Italian.

The comic story must be unpublished and composed of a maximum of 8 plates in black and white or in color. The theme, freely interpreted, for the third 2010 edition, is: "Romeo and Juliet, that is, Of unfortunate loves".

The papers must be sent in 8 copies. One only with the name, surname, address, telephone number (landline and mobile) and e-mail of the author inside.
The works must be presented in photocopies or in good quality prints, even for those who use specific software. We do not accept submissions by e-mail.
The papers must be received no later than May 31, 2010 (the date of the postmark will be valid) to the following address:

The works will not be returned.

Competitors will retain full ownership of the works and intellectual paternity. The commission, however, reserves the right to publish them, free of charge, in magazines and / or on specialized websites, and / or to exhibit them in the premises of "Via Roma 33 Café", or in other locations.

The authors, awarded or recommended, are required to personally attend the awards ceremony. There is no delivery of prizes. The awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday 15 June 2010 in the premises of the "Via Roma 33 Café".

The first classified will receive a cash prize of 300 Euros, a diploma for the second and third; also provided for any reports of merit.
The jury's judgment is unquestionable.
Participation in the Prize implies acceptance of the regulation in all its parts.
