Rain Dog
3 from 3

Rain dog concludes, a comic story that we at Hybris loved very much. The third part of the story of "Mamaranka", written and designed by Roberto Randaccio with the artistic collaboration of Paolo Pistis, does not disappoint readers who have followed the dramatic and moving events of the boxer defeated by fate, but intact in his dignity. The drawings become, if possible, even more intense, while the secret of Mamaranka's true identity and her existential choice is revealed. The draftsman biographer receives from the old boxer a special token of gratitude for having told his story; in the last painting the cruel world of Mamaranka seems to vanish: will her memories be over?

Rain Dog

Rain Dog, published by Hybris comics. com, it is signed in the drawings and in the screenplay by Roberto Randaccio, an author who has always combined his love for illustration and painting with literature and essays. Rain Dog it is his first comic, but also for this artistic expression Randaccio highlights the passion for experimentation. His drawing, in fact, contaminates graphics, photography, cinematographic expression, proposing an extremely original model of use of comics. The story comes directly from reality: Mamaranka really existed and told, between a drink and a tear, his story to the author: that of a boxer played involved in a dramatic story of violence, corruption and attempts to get out of existential damnation. . Paolo Pistis collaborated on the photographic system. The result is thrilling.
