www.theironcops.net Announces the first online Stanky Jack prize competition.

THE POLICEMAN OF THE FUTURE! Invent your new millennium cop. Futuristic, hi-tec and more. Unleash your imagination!

Regulations:
The competition is open to all novice cartoonists over 15 years of age. By beginners we mean a non-professional author who does not have employment contracts in the design field and has never published with national publishers. Students from schools of comics and authors who collaborate with fanzines are admitted. Participation in the competition is completely free.
To participate in the competition, the candidate must create a comic story of 2 free format tables (max A4) on the theme of the competition. Any drawing and color techniques are allowed. It is possible to create works in collaboration between several authors, script / drawing rather than drawings / inks. However, both authors must be absolutely beginners. The tables must be sent no later than April 6, 2009 (as evidenced by the postmark) to:

Behind each table must be indicated, in legible form, name, surname, telephone number and E-mail of the author / s. Each author must also attach a participation form, acceptance of the regulation and the privacy law downloadable from the Iron Cops website (see below the announcement). In the following months a jury composed of professional cartoonists will select the 10 best works. Subsequently, a new more in-depth analysis of the works will decide the winner. The prize of the competition consists in the publication of the winning work on the specialized magazine Fumo di china and on this site. In addition, the winner will also receive gadgets. The gadgets consist of an Iron Cops t-shirt, stickers, badges and postcards.
The winner, in addition to the publication in Fumo di China, will be paid a symbolic sum of 100,00 euros. Not to be understood as a prize in order to avoid misunderstandings.
