Animation studios of Motion Pictures, of Byron Allen's company, acquired the rights for the animated series in CG technique animal Crackers of the producer Blue Dream Studios. ESMP is planning a large theatrical release for the next year.
Animal Crackers tells the story of a family trying to save their run-down circus from being taken over by their evil uncle, Horatio P. Huntington. To their aid comes a magical box of Animal Crackers with very special magical properties: anyone who eats a cracker from the animal-shaped box turns into the animal of the cracker. The film directed by Scott Christian Sava and Tony Bancroft ( Mulan
) made its first appearance at the film festival in competition at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on June 12, 2017.
The cast of the voice acting is led by spouses John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, with Danny DeVito, Ian McKellen, Sylvester Stallone, Raven-Symoné, Patrick Warburton, Wallace Shawn, Gilbert Gottfried and Harvey Fierstein.
