My Man (Octopus) - the animated short film

Gianluigi Piludu 03/08/2017

From 27 July to 30 July 2017, the 14th anniversary of the ABP festival of animation took place in Brooklyn, the largest animation festival on the East Coast, dedicated to the screening of the best independent, professional and student animated shorts and films in the world.

For the short films section the 2017 winner is My Man (Octopus) by the French director Stéphanie Cadoret. The length of the animated short is 8 minutes, which metaphorically tell about the internal conflict, of a woman returning to her apartment, becoming the swampy and oppressive habitat of her partner: an octopus.

The 2017 festival shows include Cartoon Network cartoons, Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure in 35mm, Bee film written by Jerry Seinfeld and "An Evening with the BoJack Knight".
