In this story Batman abandons the Justice League group, because they refuse to follow him to Markovia, in order to free a friend of his held captive. This leads to the formation of a new group of superheroes, called the Outsiders consisting of: Halo, Metamorpho, Black Lightning, Katana, Geo-Force and of course Batman, the legendary dark knight. The comic was created by Mike W. Barr and Jim Aparo, with the collaboration of Marv Wolfman, George Pérez and Bili Willingham.
