AnimaniacsAnimaniacs are a cartoon series conceived by Steven Spielberg and produced by Amblin Entertainment, in collaboration with Warner Bros in 1993, for a total of 99 episodes of 30 minutes each. The intent of the series is to retrace the animation style of Chuck Jones and Tex Avery, therefore the characters and stories are completely crazy and bizarre (a typical feature of Looney Tunes), always ready for an unexpected twist and exhilarating. Despite everything, there is no lack of educational and didactic references, aimed at elementary school children such as history, mathematics, geography, science and other school subjects. The main characters are the Warner brothers: Yakko, talkative and frenetic, Wakko, demented and absurd and the little sister Dot, sweet and romantic, who however, in case of need, does not hesitate to free his monster enclosed in a box. AnimaniacsThe three are animals similar to black bunnies, with a red nose (like the Sylvester Cat), but they also recall the first versions of Mickey Mouse and the cat Felix.

Each episode is composed of three mini cartoons, all linked by the same theme, where original characters appear, with the function of the guiding thread of the story, which can be set in any historical period, geographical place or fairy tale. Yakko, Wakko and Dot claim that they were created in the 30s and were immediately locked up in the production company's famous water tank due to their funny madness. The psychiatrist, Dr. Otto Scratchansniff, tried to examine the case, but it was he himself who was the victim of the madness of the three little brothers, so much so that in desperation he tore all his hair. Another key character in the series is "Hello Nurse", an Australian blonde, with breathtaking curves, who literally drives Yakko and Wakko crazy, with hilarious gestures typical of Warner cartoons and Tex Avery characters. The dubbing should also be noted for the characterization of the characters and in Italy Massimiliano Alto gave the voice to Yakko, while Davide Lepore and Ilaria Latini wonderfully interpreted Wakko and Dot. Animaniacs cartoons were broadcast on Rai Due, Boomerang and Boing
