And yet it moves - Galileo.
The new cartoon series by Gruppo Some will be aired on TV from Monday 4 July 2011, every Monday on Rai Due at 7,55am

Group Some doubles!
After the series "Slash://", all aired every Sunday morning on RAI 2, from Monday 4 July at 7.55 am the new animation production for children kicks off "Yet it moves - Galileo"(13 x 13 ', directed by Sergio Manfio). The series is conceived by Gruppo Some and co-produced with RaiFiction and DQ Entertainment.

It is a fascinating proposal that combines animation and live action; in fact, in the new production of Gruppo Some, we find the well-known characters of the Boss and the Assistant (Francesco and Sergio Manfio) grappling with cast of exceptional cartoons led by none other than the scientist Galileo Galilei.
From the very first seconds of the program you realize that you are in front of an extraordinarily innovative quality production: humans and cartoons are perfectly mixed and it really seems that the characters in animation live at their perfect ease in the real world created by the set designers of the Treviso company.

"The use of very high definition cameras (red one 4K)" explains Umberto Barison, director of editing "has allowed us to shoot with cinematic quality and at the same time to be able to adapt, thanks to an accurate color correction, the seventeenth-century set of the live action to the colorful and characteristic look of the animations, all without loss of quality and reaching a final result that was unthinkable just a few years ago ".

If the quality of production is important, even more significant are the contents. In this series, engaging and entertaining as is the tradition of Gruppo Some productions, young viewers are offered a fun path to learn not to waste the extraordinary resources that nature makes available to us. To do this it was decided to use fairy tales, but not traditional fairy tales or fairy tales “revisited in a modern way”, but to write completely new ones.
In this way it was possible to create stories that, using characters and mechanisms from fairy tales, dealt with highly topical issues such as sustainable development, water shortage, recycling, respect for the environment, the city suitable for children, light and noise pollution, the greenhouse effect, etc ...

"We are convinced" - underlines Francesco Manfio, producer of the program - "that we have created a good broadcast of" public service ", a program that helps children, and of course also their parents, to understand that the world is really in their hands and that also thanks to their help we will be able to make it more livable! ".

“The broadcast is basically composed of four moments” continues Sergio Manfio, director and author of the program, “in the first Galileo presents the theme of the episode to the Chief and the Assistant in a nice and funny way; in the second the various protagonists, in turn, tell the tale connected to the content treated; in the third we identify together what is correct to do to solve the problem presented, in the last we play and experiment to understand it better ”.

The great interest in "Eppur si mov - Galileo", broadcast in Italy starting from Monday 4 July, is also demonstrated by the success that the program has achieved on the international market: to date, more than 20 countries have acquired the new production of Gruppo Some.
