The cartoons of Juny peperina inventatutto (original title Hai! Step June), were made by Toei Animation in 1986 and were broadcast in Italy in 1987 on Italia 1. The series consists of 43 episodes each lasting 24 minutes. Many will remember the nice theme song sung by Cristina D'avena which said "Juny you have a brain almost, but when you make an invention there are always troubles, still you are not like a cyclone and you never sleep, the centaur Nico already loves but perhaps he does not know, as you always insist, then in what trouble you will be again ...".
The cartoon tells the funny adventures of Juny, a cute, intelligent and full of ideas girl. Thanks to her passion for mechanics, the little girl builds a small robot with an electronic heart, which becomes her best friend. Juny, however, is not only passionate about technology, in fact she is in love with Niko, a somewhat reckless student more interested in motorcycles than in girls. The plural is a must: Juny is not the only one who loves Niko. Their classmate, Kitta, feels the same feeling and an inevitable rivalry arises between the two girls. From 11 June 2007 the cartoons of Juny peperina invantatutto are broadcast on Boing il Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 23.05pm.
