The protagonist of the cartoon The Emperor's New School in the original English is Kuzco, the young Aztec emperor, who in the film is transformed into a Lama by his powerful and evil advisor Yzma. Taken into the jungle, Kuzko's only chance to return home will be to become friends with Pacha, a generous farmer who will help him find his lost path and shake off all his emperor pride.
In the animated series, Kuzco must attend the Kuzco Academy school (which he himself founded and financed), in order to become a full-fledged Emperor. However, Kuzco has not yet completely abandoned his typical selfishness and whims, so he will have to learn the value of humility by abandoning his luxurious castle and going to live with the family of the farmer Pacha. Here he will find Chica, Pacha's wife, struggling with the nice and lively sons Tipo, Chaca and Cuti, who will have fun teasing Kuzco by combining all the colors. Kuzco's new schoolmates will be Squirrel Squeaking, Llama Herding, and the beautiful Malina with whom Kuzco will fall madly in love. Malina, while helping Kuzco to fit into the class, has a weakness for Kronk Pepikrankenitz, a handsome and handsome young man, as well as terribly stupid. Kronk is also the faithful assistant of the evil councilor Yzma, who entered the school in the guise of the principal Amzy, in order to prevent Kuzco from obtaining his diploma and thus become empress in his place. At the end of this apprenticeship Kuzco will learn the importance of friendship and humility, in order to one day be able to understand the needs of the people of which he will have to represent as Emperor.
