The two are also protagonists of the series Duck Dodgers in the 24th century. Here Daffy Duck alias Duck Dodgers (inspired by the famous hero of the science fiction comic Buck Rogers) is a cowardly and presumptuous duck who, accidentally hibernating in the 21st century, after about 351 years and , is thawed by the scientist Dr. Intelligenio.
