Protagonists, funny characters who will become the best friends of the children: the puppy Hanamaru, his parents, the inseparable little sister Maruru and many cheerful friends form a really hilarious group. Hanamaru is a little dog who loves to sing, he is adventurous but responsible, even if at times he is a bit distracted. Maruru, the slightly spoiled sister, adores her brother and always cares about him. Mum is ingenious but can also be very clumsy. The thoughtful Dad has a passion for fishing and reading. Among the puppy's friends, Shimao the shy monkey, Churin the whimpering mouse, Minya the elegant kitten, Pempe the chattering bird, Copoo the pig with a good fork, Kinoko-NoKonoko, a pair of singing mushrooms and Ufo-san, a little flying saucer. which no one knows where it comes from.
