MAGICA SABRINA

After the success of the TV show "Sabrina, the witch's life", in 1999 the cartoon version for children "Sabrina the animated series" produced by DIC Entertainment was released, behind the screenplay by Josh Stolberg and Sean Abley for a total of 65 episodes. lasting 25 minutes each. In turn, the show was inspired by the cartoon Archie the teenage witch and the Sabrina of the cartoon is very similar to that of the American comic of the 60s. Sabrina is a young and nice twelve-year-old witch who attends middle school and lives with her witch aunts Hilda and Zelda Spellman, who despite their young appearance are over 300 years old and her black cat Salem Saberhagen, who is not so normal in how much he is a very powerful magician, who does not hesitate to give continuous advice and reproaches to the restless and sometimes impatient Sabrina. We also find Uncle Quigley, who being the oldest is also the wisest and always tries to keep even Sabrina's exuberant aunts at bay. Sabrina as a little witch still has a long way to go, as she must learn to use the magic she sometimes uses to get some of her wishes. But he soon realizes that by forcing reality with the help of magic, you only get trouble and the best way to solve problems is always to face them without shortcuts, with courage and loyalty. Sabrina's closest friend is Chloe Flanna, an African-American girl, the only one who is aware of Sabrina's magical gifts. Like all girls of her age, Sabrina is also in love with her schoolmate and this is Harvey Kinke, a boy too busy in sports and studying, to pay attention to the romantic Sabrina. In most episodes Sabrina has to face all the little big problems, normal to girls her age, due to inexperience. A prominent role is certainly played by the cat Salem, a constant companion of Sabrina's adventures and, however wise, he is often a troublemaker too. Like in the episode where you eat the mouse that Sabrina needed for a science contest. In response, Sabrina turns Salem into a mouse and he manages to win the prize. Meanwhile, Harvey manages to sell the mouse (Salem) to NASA for an experiment that will take it into space. Sabrina will have to try to retrieve her cat before it becomes a space mouse. In another episode we find Salem who falls in love with a cat-witch and must decide whether to remain a cat or become human. Another constant in Sabrina's episodes is her attentions to Harvey. In one episode, we find her dejected that Harvey will not be able to attend the school dance party, as she cannot dance and is ashamed. Sabrina decides to turn to Aunt Hilda's old boyfriend, dance teacher, who gives Harvey prodigious skates, which dance alone only to the sound of music. Unfortunately, he can't stop them and Sabrina must be able to get them off Harvey's feet before he faints from exhaustion. In another episode Sabrina decides to fulfill Harvey's dreams and so they are catapulted into the world of comics and Harvey becomes the brave Captain Harvtastic who must fight against the diabolical Dysphilla, before he manages to erase the world of comics. In another episode, Sabrina uses magic to get Harvey to pay her more attention, but she misses the spell and he becomes ubiquitous and so obsessive, that Sabrina regrets that spell and tries to get him back to the way he was before. In the film Sabrina the little witch, friends forever we find Sabrina at the time of enrolling at the Academy of Witches, as all the women in the family have done before her. But the effervescent Sabrina has a secret: she is half witch and half mortal. Will she be able to demonstrate to her teachers and companions that she lives up to their expectations?
