Rapunzel - The series (Tangled: The Series the original title) is the animated series in 2d graphics of the sequel to the animated film Rapunzel - The intertwining of the tower produced by Walt Disney Pictures Television Animation on March 24, 2017 and consisting of 11 episodes each lasting 25 minutes, with songs written by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater.
The story takes place as a timeline after the events of the animated film and before the cartoon Rapunzel - The incredible wedding. The series is preceded by the animation film always in 2D graphics Rapunzel - Before yes (Tangled: Before Ever After) lasting 54 minutes directed by Tom Caulfield and Stephen Sandoval, which aims to introduce the animated series with a connection story, which shows how Rapunzel regains his magical long hair again.
Disney Channel has announced that in Italy the series will be broadcast on October 27, 2017 on Disney Channel, preceded by the animated film Rapunzel - Before yes.

Rapunzel and Cassandra search for an alchemist in order to solve the mystery of the long magical hair that has returned. Eugene follows them, but something menacing lurks underground. As Rapunzel leaves the village, the sharp rocks begin to grow again. Rapunzel will understand that her hair no longer possesses the healing and regenerating properties it used to be, but it is always useful for protecting whoever is around it.

Flynn secret agent
After successfully capturing a criminal, Eugene trains to become a royal guard. Unfortunately, the Captain of the Guard, Cassandra's adoptive father, shares Cassandra's hatred of her. Meanwhile, Rapunzel prepares to pose for her royal portrait which will be painted by the Italian painter Giovanni. Eugene realizes that Giovanni is an impostor and manages to catch him. This gesture will be highly appreciated by the chief of the guards.
