RUPERT BEAR is the new and enchanting animated series created especially for a preschool audience, with cutting-edge CGI graphic techniques, which will be broadcast on Boomerang starting in June.
Magic and fun meet in Nutwood where the adorable and exuberant bear Rupert invites his friends, including spectators of course, to follow him on an adventure where really anything can happen.

Rupert BearRupert bear is a cartoon that offers fun and learning, because it explains elementary skills, concepts and small teachings on the various occasions in which Rupert and his friends explore the world around them together.
The great attention paid to the unfolding of the stories guides Rubert into a world of discovery, where the magic of Ping Pong, his best friend from Beijing, can transform, for example, the teddy bear's pedal car into a spaceship. The simple and natural ways of behaving of the characters and the interaction of the scenographic elements, such as rainbows and stars that appear in the sky, create an enchanted environment, while at the same time the narration will stimulate the curiosity and participation of children. The animated series consists of 52 episodes lasting 10 minutes and was produced by Cosgrove Hall Films Productions, FIVE and Entertainment Rights.

The character was created by British artist Mary Tourtel and first appeared in the British newspaper Daily Express on November 8, 1920. Rupert's character's initial purpose was to outrun the sales of rival newspapers to the Daily Express, such as the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror. Since then, numerous books and cartoons have been made, so much so that it is now an icon of children's storytelling.
