The Hammer cannot be lifted by any man and once thrown, it always returns to its master, but he too has a flaw: if the hammer does not return to Thor's hand within a minute, the mythical Thor turns into mortal and vulnerable professor donald blake. Often Loki, to achieve his intent, uses the help of the ice giants, gods Trolls, The Skrulls, The orc and other infernal beings. Often Thor has also had to clash with other powerful enemies such as Galactus, Infinity and Hela, death. Hela is portrayed as a charming tall woman, dressed in a strange black and green costume, which for Thor represents a very formidable enemy. Among the other enemies we also remember the beautiful Enchantress el 'Performer, always ready to set some trap for the son of Odin. Several years after its release, Stan Lee e Jack Kirby they made Thor reveal that Donald Blake's discovery of the hammer-stick was actually wanted by Odin, in order to teach his son Thor humility, in order to better identify with a helpless mortal. In the album "Ascent to the throne" there is a turning point, as after Odin's death, Thor succeeds him to the throne and for him the troubles seem to almost double as he becomes the object of continuous attacks by his enemies of all time. Thor is part of the superhero group of Avengers and it is also thanks to their help (and vice versa) that he has often emerged unscathed from some super-danger. Among the various designers who have illustrated the adventures of Thor we remember in addition to Jack Kirby also, the mythical John Buscema, Neal Adams, John Byrne, Simonson, Salt Buscema, and many others, while for the screenwriters a big contribution was given as well as by Stan Lee also Gerry Conway, R, Steve Englehart e Dan Jurgens.
