With the first series Time bokan, which in Italy was titled with The time Machine, October 4, 1975 the Tatsunoko studio started the Time Bokan Series, which will see several souls with the same protagonists among these we remember Yattaman
e Calendar Men. The series consists of 61 episodes each lasting 24 minutes. In Italy it was broadcast for the first time in 1983 on local television stations.
The story tells the story of Junko and Tampei, two boys who find themselves traveling in various historical periods in search of Professor Kida. This is a brilliant scientist who invented a time machine, called Time Bokan thanks to the help of the evil assistant Sgrinfia and the robot C-Robot. The doctor experiments with the machine and thus begins his journey through time in the presence of his niece Junko and his friend Tampei. Unfortunately something goes wrong, because on his return the car's cabin is empty and in the place of Professor Kida there is the parrot Perasuke, who, being forgetful, cannot indicate in which historical period the scientist is. Kida was trapped as the parrot entered the car and operated the return lever at his time, unbeknownst to the professor.

When the parrot shows up it also shows a "dynamante" that has brought with it from its time, a very rare and priceless mineral, as it is also a source of very powerful energy. This does not leave indifferent the evil Sgrinfia, who having Kida's data, manages to build himself another time machine to go in search of the dynamants along with two other rogues such as the beautiful Lady Margot (leader of the group) and the strong-willed Birba.

This will start a series of episodes with Junko and Tampei, looking for Professor Kida in various historical eras, together with the parrot Perasuke, facing exciting adventures with the Vikings, at the time of Genghis Kan, in the Wild West, but also among characters imaginaries like Dracula, Frankenstein, Pinocchio and Little Red Riding Hood. At the same time we will also witness the amusing misadventures of the evil trio led by Lady Margot in search of dynamists, who spies on the boys to go with their car in the same historical era. Here the wicked combine damage to local people to be shown the place where the dynamancers are, a clash arises between the Time Bokan of the boys and the Robot of the evil trio, with the timely defeat of the latter.
