Yo Yo the new cartoon, which every day on Rai Yo-Yo draws the attention of children, it was born from the creativity and vision of one of the masters of international pop art: Ugo Nespolo. The artist gave life to the two symbolic characters of the television channel dedicated to children. The two twins, the protagonists of this TV series, are seven years old and also have the same name, but two completely different characters.

Yo A little man with blue hair and thoughtful, the one who thinks about things, is shy, prudent, the opposite of his sister Yo. She is impulsive, expansive, acts before thinking and with her pink hair she manages to find a fun way to involve her brother in ever-changing adventures. Together with them there is also another protagonist of the cartoon, the dog Rago, who in the company of his owners encounters incredible adventures, in places of fantasy where everything is possible.

Each episode is a journey to discover unknown worlds. It always starts from the twins' bedroom where scenes from the daily life of two curious children follow one another, who love to invent new games, get teased and share common experiences. While they do their homework or get ready to go to school or play, suddenly, to interrupt their activities, Ragoo arrives. The little dog draws their attention by barking or invites them to view some object that he has recovered in another reality.

The brothers' curiosity is immense and they immediately set off towards fantastic worlds which they access by jumping on a carpet placed in their bedroom. In these parallel realities the scenarios are always different, sometimes Yo and Yo they go to Egypt, other times in prehistoric times or they find themselves helping turtles or cleaning up the waste from the playground. In these imaginative environments the animals speak, even Ragoo, and ask for the help of the twins to solve their worries.

Like when they were playing with bricks and their little dog showed up with a feather in his mouth and took them to a huge beach, where the terrible crab king destroys all the sand castles that are created by children and living beings in this place. It was enough to put together some ideas to resolve the question, in fact Yo and Yo they showed the bad crab what it means to lose your construction. So they all joined forces to rebuild the king's castle and other buildings with sand.

Children face a different problem each time and everyone tries to contribute until they find the same idea to solve it. With a song, which has become a cult for all children, they synchronize and strive to solve an enigma, to help a friend in difficulty, to give courage and confidence to some characters of their imagination. Only together can they overcome obstacles, thanks to the power of imagination and sharing.

Each episode lasts about seven minutes and is a cartoon designed for children aged 4 to 9, but even the little ones are often enchanted by the bright colors of the characters and fantasy worlds. Everything is done in 3D and the episodes were written by Robin lyons with a team of authors from Italy and other parts of the world. Yo Yoo directed by Stefania Gallo and Ernesto Paganoni and is produced by Showlab in collaboration with Rai Fiction, Grid Animation and Telegael.

The program immediately garnered a great success with the public due to its simplicity and the artistic drawings of Ugo Nespolo. The master declared that to make the cartoon it was enough to draw on the playful roots of his art and it is precisely this artistic language that children can easily understand, thanks to their imagination and their lightheartedness.
