PAPER BABIES - Millefiori Fairy

You can download this paper doll for free and play it after making it foldable with wire and glue.

Follow these steps

rEQUIRED: Printer, A4 sheet of paper, scissors, glue, wire

1) Click on the image and save it on your computer

2) Print the image on an A4 sheet (better if it's a sturdy drawing sheet)

3) Fold the sheet following the dotted line and making sure that the front and the back match perfectly (you can check it against the light on the window glass)

4) Cut out the character, but don't cut the part of the fold yet, along the left arm.

5) Open the cut out template

6) Take 3 pieces of wire: with a single piece shape the arms, with the other two shape the two legs including the bust and head

7) Glue on both sides and place the wire

8) Close according to the dotted line of the fold, making sure that the wire does not come out of the shape (keep it as much as possible inside) and press it with your fingers so that the glue adheres well to the paper and the wire.

9) Now you can also cut out the piece of the fold along the arm.

10) Let it dry for a few minutes, under a pile of books that keep it pressed.

Now let's move on to building the wings

1) Click on the image and save it on your computer

2) Print the image on an A4 sheet (better if it's a sturdy drawing sheet)

3) Fold the sheet following the dotted line and making sure that the front and the back match perfectly (you can check it against the light on the window glass)

4) Cut the wings, but do not cut the part of the fold along the dotted line yet.

5) Open the cut out template

6) Take 2 pieces of wire: with one piece it shapes the upper part of the wings, with the other one shapes the smaller lower part

7) Glue on both sides and place the wire

8) Close according to the dotted line of the fold, making sure that the wire does not come out of the shape (keep it as much as possible inside) and press it with your fingers so that the glue adheres well to the paper and the wire.

9) Now you can also cut the piece of the fold along the upper wings, being careful that the internal wire does not come out.

10) Leave to dry for a few minutes, under a pile of books that keep them pressed.

Let's stick the wings

1) Slightly fold the wings along the green base, so that it can remain straight, without any curvature.

2) Glue the wings along the back.

3) You just have to play and ... Good fun!!!
