The story of Blanket, a spoiled cat who lives in a high-rise building in Chongqing. Blanket meets a stray cat named Wanderer. Wanderer gives him a glass bead and tells him about a place called Peachtopia. Blanket then runs away from home to find Wanderer, but he is not prepared for the difficulties of the road. After being nearly frozen to death, Blanket is rescued by his owner and vows to never leave his apartment again.
A few years later, Blanket has a partner and a son named Cape, but the partner falls out of the window and never returns. Blanket then raises his son alone. Cape is a curious kitten who wishes to explore the world beyond the apartment and considers his father lazy to be happy with the cat life living in the house.
