INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL

After 19 years, the 4th film of the legendary Indiana Jones returns to the big screen, after the previous 1989 "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". Of course Harrison Ford is no longer very young, but his 65 years are very well suited, above all. when he takes on the role of the adventurous archaeologist he has now become, the classic timeless hero. No actor with hat and whip could better embody the deeds of this character, just as one cannot imagine him directed by another director except Steven Spielberg, now also benefited by cutting-edge special effects.
The story set in 1957, begins in the Nevada desert, in an American secret base, where we find Indiana Jones and George McHale, captured by the Soviet military, commanded by the perfidious Irina Spalko (played by Cate Blanchett), who intends to use the archaeologist , to find the remains of an alleged extraterrestrial. Indiana Jones manages to free himself, but George McHale thwarts him by revealing himself as a traitor in the service of the Russians. After a series of daring situations, Indiana Jones still manages to escape, but ends up in the middle of an atomic test, which he survives by a miracle. He is found by the US military and decontaminated by radiation, however he is accused by the FBI of being an ally of the Russians, due to his friendship with George McHale, therefore he is deprived of the chair of Marshall College. He just has to leave America and go to London. Before his departure the young motorcyclist (dressed as Marlon Brando in the movie "The Wild") Mutt Williams (played by Shia LaBeouf) asks him to help him find his mother, as she was mysteriously kidnapped, after becoming interested in the disappearance of Professor Oxley. The woman had found a letter written in an incomprehensible language, which could probably only be deciphered by Indiana Jones. He realizes that that letter has something to do with the Crystal Skull of Akator, which is found in Peru. This object for the Maya people, represented a divinity that inspired respect and fear: the legend says that whoever possessed it would become the master of the world. Irina Spalko and her men also go after them, forcing them to a wild ride on a motorcycle across the university campus. In Peru, Indiana Jones rediscovers her great love Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) and discovers that Professor Oxley had been locked up in a mental asylum. Visiting his cell, he discovers a map belonging to the ancient Spanish conquistador Francisco de Orellana. All this not before having faced ferocious animals, mummies, waterfalls and aliens.
