Due to a fortuitous coincidence, Taddeo, a bricklayer with his head in the clouds, will be mistaken for a famous archaeologist and sent to Peru on a research expedition. With the help of Jeff, his faithful dog, an intrepid professor and a mute parrot, Taddeo will try to save the Lost City of the Incas with his companions from an evil band of treasure hunters. Taddeo has always dreamed of becoming a famous and intrepid archaeologist but, despite this, he continues to spend his days with his head in the clouds working on a construction site between cranes and buildings under construction. A friend of his, a well-known archaeologist, receives a mysterious stone tablet that holds the key to reach the Lost City of Paititi and its legendary treasure. Just as he is about to leave for his journey, the archaeologist has an unfortunate accident: Taddeo takes his place in the expedition and, finally, has the chance to realize his dream. Once he reaches Peru, Taddeo discovers that he is not the only one in search of the Lost City of Patiti. Odysseus, an established group of treasure hunters, is also on the trail of the treasure and is willing to do anything to find it. With the help of Sara, a brave archaeologist, Belzoni, a mute parrot with a strong character, Freddy, an unusual guide in a "carry-all" jacket full of surprises, and Jeff, his inseparable four-legged friend, Taddeo will embark on a perilous adventure that will take the entire group from one end of the country to the other in an attempt to save the Lost City and protect the mysterious treasure from the clutches of their enemies.
