SPONGEBOB THE FILM

Spongebob is a sponge who lives in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom inside a small house in the shape of a Pineapple. His neighbors and friends are all very strange and bizarre as is Spongebob, a funny yellow and square sea sponge with a crazy look, characterized by two strange protruding teeth, a red tie and a pair of short shorts. Among the various characters we find a strange squid with a lanky look, a giant crab, a diving beaver, a puffer fish, etc ... Spongebob's inseparable companion is Gheri, a marine snail that acts like a pet. In this film in the Bikini Bottom community, all hell breaks out when the irascible Neptune's crown is stolen and it appears that the culprit is Mister Krabs, SpongeBob's giant crab chief. Our incredible sponge, convinced of his innocence, together with his inseparable friend Patricks (a starfish), heads to Shall City to save his boss's life and recover the crown. Spongebob and his friend will have a thousand exciting and breathtaking adventures, which will see them face the frightening meanders of the city of Thug Tug, populated by sea monsters and dangerous killers. But the diabolical Pankton, the real culprit of the theft, prepares to implement the plan to steal the secret formula that will lead him to conquer the city of Bikini Bottom and the whole ocean. Spongebob will have to prove Mister Krabs' innocence in the face of King Neptune's wrath, teaching the value of courage and self-confidence. The film made entirely with the method of classic animation (drawings made by hand and not with the aid of 3d) is mainly aimed at a childish audience, who on TV got to know and appreciate the gags of this funny character and of his bizarre world. There is no shortage of mixes between animation and real life actors, which sees the actor of David Hasselhoff in the role of the hypermuscular lifeguard.
