Spongebob - Out of the water
Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies present “Spongebob - Out of the Water”, a fun and wild new 3D adventure. For the first time, SpongeBob, the most beloved sea sponge in the world, will rise to the surface to embark on the most “superheroic” adventure ever.
Life in Bikini Bottom couldn't be better for eternal optimist SpongeBob (Tom Kenny) and his friends: loyal starfish Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke), sardonic Squidward (Roger Bumpass), scientist squirrel Sandy (Carolyn Lawrence) and the capitalist crustacean, Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown). When the secret recipe of the Krabby Patty is stolen, the eternal enemies, SpongeBob and Plankton (Mr. Lawrence), will have to join forces and face a journey through space and time to be able to exploit their superpowers and face the evil pirate Barba. Burger (Antonio Banderas), who has their own plans for exquisite delicacies.
The film is based on the Nickelodeon series with the highest ratings in the history of the network and an international phenomenon that has continued for over a decade. Speaking of the film, director Paul Tibbit says, "It's everything you are looking for in a movie. We took characters familiar to the audience and pushed them in entirely new directions - it's a road movie, a superhero movie, a post movie. - apocalyptic and it's all in 3D! "-
“SpongeBob - Out of the Water” is directed by Paul Tibbit, with support from Mike Mitchell directing the live action sequences, executive producers are Stephen Hillenburg, Cale Boyter, Nan Morales and Craig Sost. The film, produced by Paul Tibbitt and Mary Parent, is based on the hit series, “SpongeBob,” created by Stephen Hillensburg based on a story by Hillenburg & Paul Tibbit and a screenplay by Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger. Music is by John Debney.
