The story of Big Fish & Begonia

Chun is a deity with the likeness of a young woman; he lives in a world parallel to the human one, below the sea, where the sea becomes sky and where everything is governed by strict cosmic rules.

Among these there is an iron obligation: when young people, at the age of sixteen, are called to visit the world of humans, to know it better and thus better manage it, they must not get too close to them but only look at them from afar. Transformed into dolphins, the gods rise across the sea and reach the human world.

Chun, upon reaching the surface, meets Kun, a young fisherman. Something unexpected will happen between the two which will bind them deeply to one another, to the point of running serious dangers. Chun will challenge his world and its rules but gods and human beings cannot be together, the consequences would be catastrophic and with no possibility of return.
