Doraemon - The Great Adventure in Antarctica is a 2017 Japanese animated film directed by Takahashi Atsushi, produced by ADK, Fujiko Productions, Shinei Doga (Shin'ei D ga) Co. Ltd., Shogakukan, TV Asahi that since 04 July 2018 will make its debut in Italian cinemas distributed by Lucky Red.
Unable to withstand the sultry heat of summer, Doraemon transports Nobita and his friends to a huge floating iceberg in the South Pacific. While creating an amusement park with the secret "Ice-working Iron" tool, the group finds a mysterious golden ring in the ice. Upon closer inspection, they discover that the ring was buried in Antarctica 100.000 years ago - before people could live there.
Doraemon and his friends head to Antarctica in search of the owner of the ring and find there the ancient ruins of a huge city buried in ice. Using the Doraemon's Time Belt, the group travels back in time ten thousand years ago and meets the young girl Kara who is connected to the mysterious ring. But now the group must fight for survival as Doraemon faces the crisis of the entire Earth freezing ...
