Dumbo will arrive in Italian cinemas in March 2019, a live action reinterpretation of the Disney animated classic of 1941. Directed by the famous director Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland, The Chocolate Factory), the new Disney film is starring a stellar cast.

Disney and visionary director Tim Burton present Dumbo, the grand new live-action adventure based on the beloved classic in which differences are celebrated, family is precious and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) along with sons Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of a circus already in trouble. When Dumbo is discovered to know how to fly, the circus is incredibly successful, drawing the attention of the persuasive entrepreneur VA Vandevere (Michael Keaton) who recruits the unusual elephant for his new extraordinary circus, Dreamland. Dumbo flies higher and higher with the charming and spectacular trapeze artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) until Holt discovers that, behind its glittering facade, Dreamland is full of dark secrets

Holt Farrier is a former circus star who finds her life turned upside down when she returns from the war. Circus owner Max Medici hires Holt and asks him to look after a newborn elephant whose disproportionate ears make him the laughing stock of an already struggling circus. But when Holt's children learn Dumbo can fly, persuasive entrepreneur VA Vandevere and an aerial artist named Colette Marchant go to great lengths to turn the unusual elephant into a star.

The new Disney live action film Dumbo stars Golden Globe winner Colin Farrell (In Bruges - The Conscience of the Assassin, The Lobster) as Holt Farrier, by Golden Globe winner Michael Keaton (Birdman, Beetlejuice) who will be VA Vandevere, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Danny DeVito (Batman Returns, Big Fish Stories of an Incredible Life) as circus owner Max Medici, BAFTA winner and nominee at the Golden Globe Eva Green (Miss Peregrine - The House of Special Boys, Dark Shadows) in the role of artist Colette Marchant and by Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins who, in their big screen debut, will play the children of Holt Farrier. The cast also includes Roshan Seth, DeObia Oparei, Sharon Rooney and Douglas Reith.


Katterli Frauenfelder (Miss Peregrine - The House of Special Children, Big Eyes), Derek Frey (Miss Peregrine - The House of Special Children, Frankenweenie), Ehren Kruger (Ophelia, Dream House) and Justin Springer (TRON: Legacy) are the producers. of the film, based on a screenplay by Ehren Kruger. Nigel Gostelow (Miss Peregrine - The Home for Special Boys, Dark Shadows) is the executive producer.

Disney's animated classic Dumbo, which premiered in US theaters on October 23, 1941, won an Academy Award for Best Score for a Musical and was nominated in the Best Song category for "Baby Mine".
