Peppa, holidays in the sun and other stories

The countdown has begun for the arrival on the big screen of the highly anticipated film of the most famous cartoon pig of the moment, Peppa Pig. The film, entitled Peppa Pig holidays in the sun and other stories, distributed by Warner Bros Enterteiment Italia, directed by Philip Hall and Joris Van Hulzen, will be in Italian cinemas for four days, 11, 12, 18 and 19 January 2014. A bevy of children aged between 3 and 5 are ready to invade cinemas across the country to witness what promises to be one of the biggest box office hits among children's animated films .

In this cinematic event Peppa Pig will be the protagonist of fun adventures, at least for the little ones, that will involve all her family plus some friends, always belonging to the animal kingdom. Ten different episodes will be screened, each of 5 minutes, as in the television series, to capture the attention of children, all focused on the theme of games and holidays. So here is the little pig who, on vacation with her parents and inseparable little brother George, enjoys a beautiful day by the pool, while her grandfather wallows blissfully. But there is also time for shopping with her friend Susy Pecora, accompanied by her diligent grandfather in a tourist outfit, complete with a Hawaiian shirt and a camera hanging around his neck.

In the episode entitled The circus of Peppa Pig, thanks to an idea of ​​the grandfather, Peppa and her friends are involved in a fun and original game, they will have to give life to a circus show. Each child will have a specific role, there will be the tamer, the acrobat, the clown and, of course, the circus director, a role reserved for little Peppa Pig who will have to welcome an interested audience and present each number. All the participants will have fun and get great acclaim even from the adult world. An episode that teaches how you can have fun with little, if you have a lot of imagination and a pinch of creativity.

In episode Grandfather rabbit in space, the nice old man tells a class of little listeners about his extraordinary adventure in space. "On the moon you can make big leaps" he says, and he explains how to count down when the rockets start, he describes the size, not without exaggerating a little, of what he brought to the lunar surface and, the most important thing. extraordinary of all was ... One moment, grandfather rabbit lost his voice! Called urgently Dr. Orso Bruno, the doctor arrives at the school, from a sensational medicine to the old man and this, as if by magic, finds his voice lost from too much effort. Well, the most amazing thing of all he did on the moon was to compose a song that, of course, he sings to children, just like a normal grandfather would do in real life.

Another very nice episode is the one entitled Pirate treasure where Peppa Pig and her friends, taking their cue from a box of cookies, invent a story of pirates. The little ones dress up and, after having devoured the cookies, go in search of a real treasure to bury. No sooner said than done. The group finds many objects that they put in the tin box and bury it in the garden, but only after drawing an accurate map. Luckily they have marked where the treasure is because, at the end of the game, it turns out that the eyeglasses of little Pedro Pony have also been buried among the treasures. The moral in this case is precisely the usefulness of the maps.

The simplicity of this cartoon, deliberately designed with only two dimensions, so as to be easily understandable even by the little ones, the funny songs and, of course, the gigantic marketing operation, ensure the success of this 50-minute film, child-friendly.
