CLINK OF MEATBALLS 2 - The revenge of leftovers

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (original title Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2) picks up right where the previous comedy left off Raining meat balls from Sony Pictures Animation.
Inventor Flint Lockwood is convinced he saved the world by destroying his most famous invention (a machine that turns water into food, causing showers of cheeseburgers and tornadoes of spaghetti). However, Flint soon discovers that the machine is still operational, and that he is currently creating food-animal hybrids: the Animacibi. Flint then together with his friends, in a delicate and dangerous mission, fights against hungry Tacodiles, Orangutans, Hippos, Arachnoburgers and other Animacibi, to save the world again!

The film is inspired by the book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs written by Judi Barrett and illustrated by Ron Barrett. The executive producers of the animated film are Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and Sony Pictures Imageworks Inc. Imagery and Animation. The engaging music and soundtrack are by Mark Mothersbaugh.

Characters

Flint Lockwood just saved Swallow Marinade from the huge food storm! What are you going to do now? How about saving the world ... again? It seems that Flint's most famous invention (the machine that turns water into food and which has caused a lot of trouble lately) is still in operation and is churning out living food creatures: the Foods! He returns immediately from Swallow Marinade Island, with all his friends in tow. Flint still feels responsible for the disaster caused by his invention. Will he and his friends be able to stop the Foodborne before they invade the world?

Flint Lockwood's world edible weather events made the television meteorologist famous Sam Sparks: reference for weather observers thanks to its timely updates on the "most important meteorological phenomenon in history". The girl is finally considered a credible meteorologist, contemptuous of danger. Sam has declared her sympathy for Flint and wishes him happy and fulfilled, and there is nothing to hold her back from joining the expedition to Swallow Marinade to save the population from the invasion of gigantic creatures made of living food. But why doesn't working together now cause those "flashes and lightnings" of yesteryear?

Tim, Flint's proud father, is only happy when he goes fishing with his boat to secure dinner directly from the water. Tim isn't quite clear about the value of all the technological equipment that is so important to his son's life. Flint, for his part, is tired of having to listen to other metaphors about fishing. So when the gang decides to return to Swallow Marinade to try and save the world, Flint invites his 49-year-old father to stay home. Instead, Tim insists on going fishing by boat and joins the long journey even though Flint would have preferred his old father to have stayed home.

Of few words, Steve The Monkey it has everything any boy would want to find in a best friend ... except for his particularly sparse vocabulary. Steve is both a trusted colleague and a splendid example of Flint's inventiveness who, moreover, would not understand much of what Steve tells him, without his phenomenal invention, the translator of the monkey's thoughts. What you never know is which of Steve's talents (whether his size, or his climbing prowess or his laboratory skills) will be most useful in times of need.

Do you remember "Baby" Brent on the label of Swallow Marinade canned sardines? Well, she continued her career in the culinary arts world by promoting a restaurant chain, Chick-NSushi, shooting with a foam arrow while wearing a rubber chicken costume. He will put his promising career on standby when Flint and his friends ask him to join them in helping them save the world, and stop this yet another disaster.

Even the former police officer Earl Devereaux is embarking on an alternative career path in catering, serving, as a barista, in trendy shorts, coffee and drinks in a luxury coffee shop. But when Flint and Sam ask him to join their adventure, Earl, as a bartender, will go back to being who he was, complete with a uniform and beard, joining the group with a somersault directly outside the door.

Manny, Sam's former cameraman (and resourceful master), arrived a little by surprise in San Franjose, California and the moment Flint, Sam is in a car full of friends, arrives there, they find him intent on making walking a little calf. But hey, the calf will have to wait! Manny grabs the camera again and greets the innocent creature with an "adios!" Joining the gang to reach the food-infested island of Swallow Marinade.

If Steve Jobs, Richard Branson and a circus director could be genetically combined, what would come out would be chester v, the eccentric genius, mastermind of the worldwide company Live Corp, and all that it produces "for the improvement of the living conditions of humanity". A bit of a guru, a bit of a showman and a bit of an inventor, Chester is a super-smart guy, in fact he's a super smart guy. For example, at his brainstorming he is always the only one who is present! But then why with so much gray matter on hand, does he need Flint Lockwood to fix the mess at Swallow Marinade?
