Savva - The animated film
Savva is an animated film that will be released in Italian cinemas starting from Thursday 20 July 2017. Directed by director Maksim Fadeev, it is produced by a collaboration between Art Pictures Studio and Glukoza Production. The film lasts 85 minutes and will be distributed in Italy by Whale Pictures.
Savva "is the story of a 10-year-old boy who lives in a small village in a forest. Once protected by the regal white wolves, the village is now easy prey for a band of ruthless hyenas. Savva manages to escape into the woods, where He is saved by Angee, a majestic white wolf, the only survivor of the mass disappearance of his species. Angee confides in Savva that a powerful wizard tells us that there is a warrior capable of liberating his village. Unfortunately, however, the wizard lives on a mountain completely surrounded by the forces of Mom Jozee, the evil three-headed Monkey Queen. Faced with insurmountable trials, Savva and Angee begin the long and dangerous journey to the mountain. During the long journey, other companions join: Puffy, a strange and furry pink creature; Fafla, a presumptuous and old-fashioned Frenchman who is in fact a baron who has failed to be the victim of a spell and forced to carry the King of Mosquitoes on his shoulder; the princess of the pal ude Nanty and others. Everyone has a personal reason for meeting the Magician. Allying themselves against the common enemy, the small group fights against Mom Jozee's army to achieve the goal. It's a colorful fairy tale about the importance of taking care of loved ones, meeting true friends, growing strong and believing in your dreams with all your heart.
