Freccia Rossa dies while Tex is away. When the son-in-law, hastily recalled, arrives at the village, the great chief is already riding in the heavenly prairies. Attending the funeral, Eagle of the Night assumes the leadership of the Navajos. She then quickly returns to Utah, where she discovers that the infamous Brawley of the OB ranch had Nellie kidnapped and her farm burned to steal her land.
