Italeri toy soldiers are essentially divided into two distinct categories, and these two are the category of soldiers and the category of historical figures. The first category is made up of a vast series of figures relating to soldiers from different eras: the vast majority of these miniatures depict soldiers of the Second World War, and among them the models of the Allies stand out, represented with extreme care in detail, equipped with protective helmet, military uniform and rifles, the German and Italian soldiers, all made up of rigid plastic elements. Italeri toy soldiers can be of two different sizes, one quite small and one slightly larger.
The second group of models of people instead the warriors and soldiers of historical periods other than the World War: among these figures stand out the soldiers of the nineteenth-century French infantry, plastic models that wear the costumes of the time and therefore faithfully represent reality , with hats, swords and rifles, the English soldiers who faced the army of Napoleon and the soldiers of the Secession war, both northerners and southerners, all made of rigid plastic materials. All the various models, regardless of their size and their category of belonging, are without coloring, and it will therefore be up to the owner to hand-paint the various Italeri toy soldiers: a small defect is found in the packaging, as the toy soldiers are in a plastic grid, and removing them without damaging them is an operation that is not always successful.
As for the settings, these turn out to be quite varied: there will not only be the various military barracks, but also the houses destroyed by the bombings, the soldiers 'camps and even replacement weapons, which can be placed in the hands of the various soldiers' models. . All these components are always made up of hard plastic elements, and their assembly will prove to be quite simple to perform.
The various vehicles are also of different types: there will be both military vehicles such as tanks and jeeps, both made of plastic with mobile wheels, which facilitates their movement on the battlefield, helicopters, which must be entirely assembled and painted and the ships, which, like helicopters, will have to be built by the owner. Each of these vehicles turns out to be quite faithful to their real counterparts, even if a small defect could always be the fact of having to remove the various pieces from the plastic, an operation that obviously requires a great deal of attention from the owner, since even the smallest of the errors could irreparably damage the various parts of the model.
