The Crow is an American fantasy film directed by Alex Proyas, released in 1994. It is the film adaptation of the comic The Crow released in 1989.

On October 30, Eric Draven and Shelly Webster are in their apartment the day before their wedding day. Eric walked through the window, dead instantly. Shelly is in critical condition after being tortured and raped.

A year later, Eric and Shelly are buried side by side. Their friend, little Sarah, gives her flowers, but a crow is watching ... As night falls, Eric returns from the dead. Disturbed, disoriented, he is guided by the crow to his apartment, abandoned in the state. Attacked by memories, the moments of happiness return to him, as well as his death, and that of his beloved.

Mad with rage, he recomposes himself like a mask belonging to Shelly and takes out her gothic clothes. Enraged and invincible, he is determined to take revenge.

Aided by the crow, he tracks down and kills all those responsible for Shelly's death one after another. The police, and especially the inspector who investigated their deaths, are following in his footsteps. Eric also finds Sarah, whom he protects. Assisted by the inspector, he is determined to destroy the gang that runs the city. However, they understood the connection between the crow and Eric. While Eric has carried out a veritable massacre, he is injured and the bond with the raven is broken. Sarah is in danger, Eric does not give up. The inspector is injured and Sarah in danger, Eric uses Shelly's moments of suffering, captured by the inspector who was at his bedside, to disorient his opponent. Once her revenge is over, little Sarah realizes that Eric won't be back.

Wearing Shelly's ring, she will never forget the raven legend, because true love is eternal.
