Woody Woodpecker (Woody Woodpecker in the American original) is a very cunning troublemaker, who can carve any object with its powerful beak at an incredible speed. Next to Picchiarello we find his girlfriend Zinnie and various friends such as Wally and and Buzz. The stories are hilarious and told at a dizzying pace, full of twists and hilarious gags, where the unfortunate opponents of Picchiarello always pay the price, who always ends his adventures with his classic rirsata. Alongside the friendly woodpecker, his girlfriend Winnie and numerous friends including the grumpy walrus Wally, the cunning vulture Buzz and the sweet penguin Chilly Willy. The fun adventures that see him as the protagonist have a fast pace, full of twists and hilarious gags.
Born in 1940 from the pencil of Ben "Bugs" Hardaway (also creator of Bugs Bunny), Woody has had a long graphic evolution, up to the appearance that we all know, so captivating as to remain unchanged over time.
