 The cartoon is the story of Balto, a stray dog cross between a wolf and a husky sled dog. Balto is shy and lives isolated in the mountains of Alaska, as the dogs of the neighboring country reject him, because they consider him a different one. One day, however, a serious epidemic breaks out in the country, affecting all the children. At the same time a snowstorm  blocks roads and communication routes to get medicines. As a desperate attempt, an expedition of sled dogs is sent but gets lost. Here comes Balto, the dog that everyone despised, will save them from the cold and make them find the right path thanks to his infallible wolf nose. Highly educational story for adults and children as the values of equality and respect for diversity emerge ...

 BALTO II - The mystery of the wolf - Balto becomes a father and all his puppies except one, Aleu, are adopted. After meeting a hunter, Aleu realizes that she will never be accepted because she looks more like a wolf than a dog. Shocked by this awareness, Aleu runs away and begins a journey for her to discover the meaning of life. A very worried Balto, haunted by strange nightmares in which a raven and a mysterious white wolf appear. |
 BALTO III - On the wings of adventure - In the town of Nome, Balto's sled is no longer the only one to deliver mail, now there is also a plane. To see which is the fastest way, a race is organized between the sleigh led by Balto and the plane piloted by Duke. But the aircraft mysteriously disappears and, even if many dogs seem to be happy, Balto fears something serious has happened and decides to go to the rescue. Thanks to the help of Boris, Muc and Luc the intrepid Balto manages to save Duke. As a reward for his heroic deed Balto will be able to realize his greatest dream: to fly and see the way above the clouds. | |
