FRANKLIN AND FRIENDS
on Italy 1 and Cartoonito

Comes for the first time on Cartoonito FRANKLIN AND FRIENDS, the fun new CGI series based on the best-selling children's book series “Franklin the Turtle” by Paulette Burgeois and Brenda Clark! The show follows the new adventures of the grown-up and wiser turtle Franklin, along with her lifelong friends. Franklin lives exciting adventures every day, full of humor and with many teachings on small daily responsibilities.
Franklin is not a perfect turtle but she is full of optimism and the ability to get involved in any situation: her adventures will encourage little spectators to always look at the world with curious eyes.

Franklin is a baby turtle who lives in Woodland with his family and is surrounded by a close-knit group of friends. Every day after school, Franklin and his friends gather in the park or in a special tree shelter to invent new games and embark on exciting adventures. Their favorite game is "jumping buggy": do-it-yourself carts pushed at full speed down a slope and 'driven' by a soft toy. But the fantasy of Franklin and his friends does not end there: sometimes they improvise as investigators and, together, they solve many little mysteries. Other times they get together to carry out group research that the master, Mr. Owl, assigns to them. Franklin lives with his father, mother and little sister Harriet in a small house. His best friend is Bear. Together with Fox, Rabbit, Beaver, Goose and Snail, Franklin and Bear form the "Friends of Nature" group which draws numerous lessons from the surrounding environment and promises to learn to respect it.
Through the stories, designed for children, the series addresses issues related to personal growth and socialization, and emphasizes the importance of family and friendship.
