Several years after its first appearance on RAI UNO in October 1979, Remì's cartoons are back starting from Monday 22 November 2010 on Italia 1 at 7,50 from Monday to Friday, with the title "Always listen to the Remì heart". The cartoon of Remi is based on the novel "Senza famiglia"of Malot and tells the adventures of a vagrant child in search of his mother, who, together with a company of street musicians, goes around the towns and cities to collect some money. He is looked after by the old man Vitali, a street performer who with his three trained Capi dogs, Doormat, Desserts and the little monkey Joly Coeur, entertains the spectators, while Remì masterfully plays his harp which he always carries behind his back during long journeys on foot. Remì's cartoon was made with an innovative technique for those times, in fact the backdrops behind the presonages (for example: snow, landscapes, city buildings, etc.) move on various levels, giving the impression of three-dimensionality. . This effect can be appreciated with glasses with two different lens colors: one normal transparent and the other red or smoked.
