BIANCA AND BERNIE IN THE LAND OF Kangaroos

Friday 29 December on RAI UNO at 14,10 pm Walt Disney animated film will be broadcast "Bianca e Bernie nella terra dei canguri"(original title" The Rescuers Down Under ") directed by Hendel Butoy and Mike Gabriel made in 1990. Bianca and Bernie are a pair of cute little white mice who work for the International Rescue Society, a mice-only association that helps children oppressed by evil adults. After the previous 1977 "The Adventures of Bianca and Bernie", the two mice return to action, amusing adults and children with a story full of dynamic and exciting animations. At the beginning of the film we find Bianca and Bernie engaged in a romantic candlelit dinner, at a prestigious restaurant in Manhattan for rodents only, when the shy Bernie gives his beloved Bianca the engagement ring. The romantic atmosphere, however, is broken by an urgent request for intervention by the Rescue Company which makes them board the Albatross to travel to Australia. Here they will have to help the little Cody prisoner of an unscrupulous poacher who wants to capture an endangered royal eagle. (Click on RAIDUE)
